Best known for her role as Maddy Piper on Suddenly Susan, Andréa has spent decades working across film and television while building an equally rich body of work around women’s circles, retreats, mentorship, and now the Circle This podcast.
Her career had become an ecosystem. Her brand hadn’t caught up.
The job was to build a personal brand spacious enough for all, and to reveal the thread that had been there all along: storytelling, presence, human connection, and the experience of being witnessed.

Brand Strategy + Messaging
Visual Identity
Custom Showit Website Design + Development
The first challenge was deciding what the website was actually for. In our earliest conversations, Andréa and her team described circles, retreats, guided meditations, the podcast, mentorship, merchandise, and a growing directory of people and resources she wanted to share. The instinct had been to give each one its own visual lane.
But the more we looked at the work, the clearer the answer became: Dré was the brand.
Instead of forcing the business into separate boxes, the brand could finally reflect what her audience already understood when they spent time with her: every expression of the work came back to connection, truth, belonging, and the power of being witnessed.
Her messaging grew from that same center. We defined the brand as a sacred invitation to belonging and transformation, with a voice that could speak about ritual and spirituality without becoming precious, vague, or drenched in “love and light” language.
The result was a personal brand expansive enough to hold Andréa’s spirituality, humor, honesty, acting and storytelling background, community work, and public voice without sanding any of it down.
Andréa’s creative direction lived in tension: dreamy and grounded, ancient and forward-looking, intimate and commanding.
We built the palette around deep teal, muted greens, earthy browns, and softened neutrals, then paired expressive typography with tactile texture, candid photography, grain, and generous space. The result feels lived-in rather than pristine, with just enough structure to keep all that richness from becoming visual noise.
And the most personal piece of the identity came directly from Andréa herself. The radiating brand mark was inspired by a sentimental tattoo Andréa wears on her arm. Rather than inventing a symbol and assigning meaning to it afterward, we took something already carrying meaning in her life and translated it into the visual language of the brand.
That mark became the thread running through the full identity, from her primary logo and favicon to subtle watermarks throughout the website.
The finished Showit site brings her circles, podcast, retreats, coaching, guided meditations, community, and future offerings together without reading like a directory.
The hierarchy starts with Andréa’s perspective, then gives visitors clear paths into the parts of her world that interest them. That was especially important for the Circle This podcast. Instead of treating it like a Spotify button tucked into the navigation, the podcast website design gives the show its own substantial home within Andréa’s larger brand, including featured episodes, listening links, reviews, and room for future show notes.
Behind the site, we simplified the system, too. Flodesk now supports email capture, branded welcome emails, audience segmentation, retreat and meditation waitlists, while a future-ready WordPress setup gives the team room to add searchable podcast content later.
And because Andréa’s visibility can continue expanding into podcasting, collaborations, media, and speaking, the site was intentionally built with the same flexibility I look for in speaker website design: the person and her ideas remain the center, while new expressions of the work can be added without rebuilding the brand around them.
Andréa no longer has to explain why her podcast, circles, retreats, meditations, and community belong beside one another. The connection is visible before she says a word.
Her name now holds the larger body of work, while each offering has enough space to develop its own identity inside it. The brand can grow as she does without another reinvention every time a new idea becomes real.
At handoff, Andréa specifically called out the typography, balance, simplicity, colors, brand mark, and mobile experience:
“I really love how it looks, and I love the font and I love the balance of it.”
